At Kenshin Martial Arts, we take great pride in helping our students build confidence, improve fitness and flexibility, improve discipline, and create friendships in our safe and family friendly environment. We have programs to fit all ages and skill levels, where we strive to unlock our students’ potential through discipline, focus, and respect. Choose from our Little Dragons, Youth, or Adult classes for Jujutsu and Karate. We also provide a host of both preschool enrichment programs and after school programs too. Sensei Dave has more than 25 years of experience in multiple martial arts to include: Shorinji Ryu Renshinkan, Kempo, Kenwayoshin Ryu, Aiki Goshin Jujutsu, Hapkido, Moo-Do-Kuan, Olimpic Kumite and others. He is also a certified Physics/Math teacher and currently serveing in the US Air Force Reserve. He has a passion for teaching martial arts and a devotion for kids.
His wife Gretchen, who leads the homework and Language class, holds teacher certifications in the States of Colorado, Florida and Puerto Rico. She has over 25 years of experience teaching multiple levels, from PreK to middle school and in the Special Education program.
Sensei Eric runs the Kenshin Martial Arts Aikido Program. He brings over 10yrs of experience with a focus in Aikido for the past nine years. He
frequently expands on his martial arts experiences at every possibility, and has trained with various
disciplines including Tang Soo Do, Wu Dang Tai Chi Chuan, and Kung Fu. Sensei Eric also works as

school teacher in District 49 and holds seven state endorsements, including Mathematics, Family and
Consumer Sciences, and Business. He brings his love for education and service to the community into
the dojo.
Master Locke runs our Combat Hapkido Program. He brings over 26yrs of Defensive Tactics and Martial Arts experience.
Master Locke experience includes Combat Hapkido (Tactical Pressure Points, Ground Survival, International Police Defensive Tactics), Goyu-Ryu Karate Do, Ninjutsu, Tang Soo Do and Tae Kwon Do and Modern Army Combatives.
Master Locke is also currently serving in the US Air Force.
